How to do First Aid

Cuts

If it is dirty, wash the wound clean under running water.
Cover the wound with sterile gauze or something similar,
and apply pressure to stop the bleeding.

Apply pressure to stop bleeding. Direct pressure method for controlling hemorrhage.
Apply gauze or a handkerchief directly on the wound and press hard.
Indirect pressure method for controlling hemorrhage.

Apply strong pressure to an artery nearer to the heart than the cut.

*Wearing plastic gloves or using plastic bags is recommended, in order to avoid the risk of infection.




Burns

Cool the area as soon as possible using tap water, etc. for 15-20 minutes. Don't use high-pressure running water. Don't pop blisters and consult a dermatologist.

Fractures

Don't try to move the injured area unnecessarily, and ice the injury. If there is protruding bone or bleeding, cover the wound with sterile gauze or a towel, apply pressure to it to stop the bleeding, and call an ambulance.Put the broken area in splints.For fractures in the brachium or ante brachium (arm or forearm), stabilize the elbow joint using a triangular bandage.

Sprains

Try not to move the sprained area unnecessarily, and ice the area.
If pain or swelling is severe, consult an orthopedic surgeon.

Dislocations

Don't try to move the dislocated joint or force it back into place, and consult an orthopedic surgeon.

Gas poisoning

Carry the patient to an area with fresh air. Lay the patient on his/her side and tilt the head back to clear the airway.

Bee stings

Pinch the skin around the sting and squeeze out the poison.If something seems to be wrong with you, call an ambulance immediately.
