To all faculty and staff members and students:

Keio University Health Center

COVID-19-related Measures during the Year-end and New Years Holidays (Excluding Shinanomachi Campus)

All Keio University Health Centers (excluding Shinanomachi Campus) will be closed during the Year-end and New Years holidays from December 28, 2022 (Wed.) to January 5, 2023 (Thu.). Please note that this means we will not be able to respond to any COVID-19-related inquiries over the phone or email during that time.

In the meantime, if a member of an active student club tests positive for COVID-19 during the holidays, we request that clubs follow the "Flowchart for when a member of a student club tests positive for COVID-19", determine a date to resume activities after assessing the related risk of infection, and gain the approval from the faculty member who serves as club chairperson.

Faculty, staff, and students with symptomatic infections, those who were close contacts with infected persons, or those who received official diagnoses who have completely recovered or self-isolated during the holidays may skip the Health Center interview and resume on-campus activities from January 6 (Fri.) onward provided that they haven't missed work or classes and are in good physical condition. Those whose infection or exposure caused them to miss work or classes require a Permission of Return to Campus Certificate, and are asked to report to the Health Center on their campus on the first day they return from January 6 (Fri.) onward. If you have difficulty determining when to return to campus on your own, please consult the Health Center on your campus on or after January 6 (Fri.).

Measures are different for Shinanomachi Campus faculty, staff, and students. Please refer to the notice about Shinanomachi Health Center operations during the Year-end and New Years holidays on the Kif.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
